In 2017 Richard and Guy set out on a project to map the hard-rock lithium resource potential of the UK. Following this initial, extensive work on the lithium mineral ecosystem and the European and international market, they identified a large commercial opportunity to build the UK’s first pure-play merchant lithium refinery, to sustainably power the electric vehicle revolution.

They have since launched Green Lithium, bringing in expertise from across the natural resources and refining world – to create a formidable execution team to deliver the project.
